BOOK A COMPUTER
The DSC High Performance Computer Lab is located in 2-20X, and has seven high-performance computers and a wide range of specialized software available for U of A researchers, students, and staff.
- To book time on a high-performance computer, please email dsc.library@ualberta.ca.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
- Custom credentials to a DSC computer will be emailed to the user upon confirmation of the booking.
- Computer use can be in-person or via remote access.
- Before booking, please review the computers and their software in order to determine the appropriate machine for your project.
- Not all software is available remotely; use is restricted to in-person only. Please check with staff at the time of booking.

DSC COMPUTER LAB MAP
CONNECT REMOTELY
To connect remotely to a DSC computer, you will need to install both Cisco AnyConnect VPN client and Microsoft Remote Desktop client on your remote computer.
ADDITIONAL U OF A COMPUTER LABS
The U of A provides computer access across all campuses with access to a variety of software.
U of A students, staff, and faculty can log in with their CCIDs. Visitors to the U of A can obtain access to non-DSC workstations on-campus (and most Library resources) with a Library Network Access ID.
